Welcome!

Hi, I’m Amber — a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, mom of three, and seasoned navigator of both the beautiful and complicated parts of being human. My life and work have been shaped by the ever-changing complexities of relationships, identity, healing, and growth.

I work primarily with adults who are newly diagnosed with cancer, who are navigating the aftermath of a diagnosis, or who are closely impacted by another’s diagnosis. I support people with experiences of medical trauma who are looking to understand and work through what may not have been possible to confront until now.

Through my own experience of medical trauma as well as my professional background as a social worker, I understand the profound disorientation, grief, and exhaustion of a cancer diagnosis, as well as the vital self advocacy it requires. I am here to witness, support, and help you integrate that journey.

I know firsthand that it’s often the recovery from difficult diagnoses that is the biggest challenge; the process of returning to everyday life having been profoundly changed. There is so much to be accessed through beginning to unpack your cancer journey.

Together we will create a space within, where you build insight, strengthen resilience, develop solutions, and integrate sustainable change that fits your life. Therapeutic work can bring experiences of delight, despair, anger, relief, clarity – and all of it will be your life’s most sacred work yet.

Whether you’re new to therapy or well-practiced and clear about what you’re seeking, if any of the above resonates I would love to connect.
